Discussion Summary

Administrative Items

·          Additions/modifications to the agenda

·          Project contract updates

Crystal/ Sarah

10 mins

·          Sarah confirmed the confirmation letter to authorize CGH’s work with NACHC and the letter of support on vaccine hesitancy for community health workers.

·          Crystal is working on the draft scope of work and will send to NACHC after Anita reviews it.

Steps to Launch Health Center and HCCN/PCA Meetings

·          Meeting logistics: date, time, communications

·          Pre-planning and coordination with NACHC

·          Orientation needs for new participants

Rocio/ Sarah

15 mins

·          Nicole introduced Rocio as the Clinovations GovHealth lead for steps to launch health center and HCCN/PCA meetings.

·          CGH is still trying to think of a catchy name to call the project. Sarah confirmed there is a formal name from the CDC that she will look up for us, and noted it is long.

Meeting Logistics

·          CGH will coordinate with NACHC to set up meetings with the participants.

·          NACHC will continue to use and optimize Confluence. Sarah will  activate accounts for CGH. She wants to archive the old content and start with a clean page. She wants to ensure there is a process in place for content to upload, and she referred to the informatics project’s scrum master and Confluence lead.

·          A PM tool called “TeamWorks” might be used to help track the CDC milestones required for this project.

·          Sarah will send the CDC SOW to CGH.

·          Sarah will send CGH the HIT Capacity Survey that the health centers and networks completed in the prior project. (Update: Complete) CGH will use these responses to help frame the questions for the technology capabilities questionnaire to be sent to the current participants.

Informal Vaccine SME Discussions (proposed)

·          Rocio noted Liz Abbott and Melissa McClung from AIRA as potential experts to contact for informal discussions as part of the planning process. Sarah added that NACHC works closely with the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM)’s public health side, and the Immunization Action Coalition (IAC). LJ Tan and Carolyn Bridges, MD are the IAC contacts.

Meeting Resources

·          Capt. Amy Parker Fiebelkorn is NACHC’s technical lead from the CDC. They have worked with her for many years. They prefer to use resources that are mainstream and evidence-based and may reflect recently released CDC materials.

3 New Participants

·          (1) Dakotas (North and South)

o   Has Native-American population, “off-the-grid” population that NACHC hasn’t worked with before

·          (2) Health Efficient

o   Has been a partner with NACHC

·          (3) Alabama Primary Care Association

·          All three need the final report for the past few years as background. Bringing them up on the data aspects is needed. Health Efficient should be fine, but it will take more work for the Dakotas and Alabama.

·          Orientation: NACHC’s informatics team will lead the data aspects and the introduction to Confluence. NACHC wants to own the meeting invites, and CGH will join. CGH will send Sarah days and times of availability to help set up orientation meetings.

NACHC Informatics Team Coordination with CGH

·          Meetings should include a Data Analyst (Jason):

·          Jason and Pedro will work together until Jason is ready to lead. Calls need to be coordinated with them, their scrum master, and Julia Skapik.

·          CGH will set up meet and greet with Jason, Pedro, Effay, Julia.

·          CGH will start drafting questionnaire for informatics team to review. This may also inform the scopes of work.
