Next Steps:
Step 1: Identify a group of representative users for each site to include:
Field workers (4-5) - Gathering the data
Administrative staff (2-3) - Providing direction, collecting the data
Technical/Business support staff (2-3) - Currently providing support to the Field and Administrative workers via tools & processes
Step 2: Initiate engagement with the site-specific group to gather:
Details on current client engagement processes employed within the field
Examples of existing tools that are being used to collect and track information for Field & Admin personnel (this could include both physical and virtual tools like paper questionnaires, etc)
Reporting process, external and internal requirements, and associated KPPs/KPIs (if they exist)
Other site-specific processes which may fall within, or impact project scope
Step 3: Identify gaps in tools/processes to include:
Functional gaps between current need in the Field and available tools
Gaps in information availability, based upon reporting or tracking demand
Usability/discoverability gaps
Operational gaps between current and project specific goals
Step 4: Iterate on solution design and fit
Validate process flow and functional design with the Site-specific group
Validate information gathering/reporting outputs
Validate proposed integration with internal/external systems
