Session 1: Leaning In to the COVID-19 Pandemic (60 mins) - October
- Part 1: Business Contingency Planning (15 mins)
Recognizing the importance of business contingency planning to survival and sustainability during COVID-19 or other pandemics, explore the basic components of a Business Contingency Plan and what is needed to get started in developing and implementing a plan.
- Part 2: Enhancing Collective Data and Informatics Systems (15 mins)
To improve the collection, management, interpretation, and dissemination of COVID-19 data to guide health center and national policy decision-making, discuss the importance of standardized data and a coordinated data collection and reporting system. Learn of NACHC’s national activities to support this work, together with health center-controlled network, primary care association, and health center partners. Discussion topics will include: COVID-19 data models and dictionary, business intelligence dashboards, and HIT data streams and tools to support an evidence-based COVID-19 response.
- Part 3: Best Practice Models during COVID – Response (15 mins)
Hear from health centers that mobilized an early and effective response to COVID-19 and their lessons learned that can be applied to continued pandemic response or the next pandemics. Models, workflows, and tools showcased.

Session 3: Looking Over the Horizon (60 mins) - December
Part 1: Business Contingency Models and Next Steps (15 mins) - Come hear from health centers that created successful business contingency models during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hear their stories and lessons learned. See sample models and workflows to apply in your own organization.
Part 2: Applying Data to Decisions (15 mins) - Explore case and exposure tracking dashboards and HIT tools to support evidence-based COVID-19 care. Discuss quantitative and qualitative data analyses to support decisions at the local and national levels.
