We have partnered with Silicon Valley Independent Living Center, which can be found at https://svilc.org/ and Gianna Spina from this organization has been very helpful and knowledgeable. If we can always make these types of connections with other organizations, it would be extremely helpful and beneficial.

24. What additional context would you like to share about any of the answers provided in this report?

Leave the spaces below blank if you have no additional context to share.

24a. What would you like to share about equipping influential messengers?

Having influential messengers provided with up-to-date CDC recommendations and the importance of having the CDC recommendations being readily available in non-English languages. Providing the up-to-date CDC recommendations in an easy to read/format friendly for all ages and reading levels.

24b. What would you like to share about vaccination opportunities and provider partnerships?

We believe the more entities we work with allows us to receive more opportunities regarding information and vaccinations available. It also allows us as a vaccine administrator to connect with more individuals and provide more services needed. It is essential to have an established relationship with community partners, in order to reach the individuals with the most need. We have also acknowledged the importance of needing to earn the trust of the general public, as this cannot happen overnight. Ultimately, we wish to benefit the community by administering as many vaccinations as possible.

24c. What would you like to share about barriers to vaccine uptake?

BACH always wants to be a part of a campaign in which is educating our community and patients regarding vaccination availability, not solely COVID-19. Our medical staff have spoken with many stakeholders who have had the belief of a vaccination solely being applicable to COVID-19. We wish for the general public to know there are many vaccinations that are helpful for health maintenance. BACH would also like to spread the word regarding how vaccinations are not just injections, but vaccinations are a method utilized to combat diseases. Access to free vaccinations would also remove barriers.
