8/30/24 - El Rio Call

• Has senior centers in mind

• Jennifer Bigs is nursing contact who does this

  • Have done vaccinations at Tucson swap meet

  • Would love to look into using funds to find different ways of outreach

• Potential partnerships with City of Tucson, local health dept, other entities

  • Other health centers in AZ would be interested

• Sarah will inquire about funding for other HCs, bring potential opportunities/collaboration to Doug & AZ PCA

8/28/24 - Mariposa Call

• Data - would need to add an additional question to their questionnaire but able to pull from pharmacy data system

• Already conduct weekly Saturday flu clinics, could do special event or host one at assisted living facilities - have strong relationships with them

  • Start first week of Sep and go through week before Christmas

• Have their own Comms person we could work with

• Geena on PTO until second week of Sep, will connect later for more details

8/20/24 - Internal PHIT & Comms

• 2 parts, Comms & HC events

  • Will talk to each HCs comms people for which social media, ads to use

  • 6 HCs, $17k each, $1200 for ads for each

    • AZ - El Rio & Mariposa

    • TX - Lubbock & East Texas Community Health Center?

      • Wanda worked with Nuestra Clinica del Valle, TX, Los Barrios Unidos & Centro Medico previously

    • MS - Can reach out to Sonja (will see her at CHI), probably GA Carmichael

  • Goal: raise awareness for respiratory vaccinations

  • Older adults 65+

• PHIT will be doing RFP for HCs, 2 in each state (AZ, MS, TX)

  • Comms will do national/local outreach for campaign messaging, promoting to committee

    • Geotargeted messaging

  • Aiming for clinics in Oct/Nov

  • Find which HCs reach older adults

    • Research team can help, UDS data

    • Sarah has connections at Association of Long-term Care Workers

    • $17k for each HC, can use money for anything but shots
