2nd cohort of spanish commit participants - be patient and appreciate those who do show up and give them the best experience possible

Obesity isn't a label - look at family/systems - tailoring the content to the group you have (getting to know them more in session 1)

A lot of collabs with community orgs (Tucson parks and rec) work with orgs that have kids - referrals from peds providers, collab with YMCA - school resource center, Catch program/YMCA for fall

CDC gave legitimacy to program in the eyes of providers/leadership - high regard

Fitness instructor/Rec staff to exercise leader

If you’re not where you want to be give alternatives/creative solutions to meet your numbers - recruitment, building issues (tips) - recruitment takes alot more time and effort - if this than that troubleshooting

Food prep takes alot of planning, shopping and executing

PCA perspective: planted seeds that have taken root and have been watering those seeds over the past 5 years and will thrive long term (sustainability). Needs to be integrated in primary care and emphasis on/integrated into.
