  • NPR feature on AAP Clinical Practice Guideline update

  • Started working with YMCA, will check with team (legal & contracts) about how to configure, question of MOU

  • Specialized MEND courses on lifestyle changes for those considering bariatric surgery should be considered

  • AAP Clinical Practice Guideline update - hasn’t had time to dive in but aware of changes

  • Question about travel for in-person meeting, need to follow up with Kathy

  • Timing of the in-person meeting? April 25-26, schedule TBD but will try to build in some fun time

    • Options to come in earlier or stay later

  • Question on surgery for adolescents? Data seems to support, but subset is limited

    • Skipped the step of lifestyle changes? 12 month minimum process to be considered for surgery, lots of visits with providers

  • Referring patients (brochures, contact) for the YMCA so they know services are available, they have case workers, CHWs

    • Don’t need MOU with YMCA

  • Planning to come in a day early to Colorado
