Pre-Work

• Assignment 1 Assess review:

  • For chart review, looked at immunization recommendations section

  • 0 = did not have information, history of immunization, or reason why they did not have it

  • Bola will add requested additional information for chart audits

• Population of choice - used registration of all patients 19+ seen at health center

• Small data review

  • Lesson: No recommendation of the vaccinations? that may be why the rates are so low

  • Pre-visit planning?

    • They do this for kids and sometimes call when vaccinations are due, but do not currently for adults

    • Who does the recommendations? Nurses would do patient call reminders, provider would do recommendations for in-person visits

      • Are they recommending and not documenting?

    • Do adult patients get assessed?

      • Bola will look into what the process for assessing and recommending
