Technical Definition






  1. The continued absence of detectable HCV RNA for at least 12 weeks after completion of therapy
  2. Have HCV antibodies but no longer have detectable HCV RNA in serum, liver tissue, or mononuclear cells, and achieve substantial improvement in liver histology
