General | Samuel Carbajal, LVN (vaccine program manage); Ashley Mason (Physician Assistant) NACHC: Jonathan Uy, John Gresh Prior NACHC project: Human Centered-Design (CCI projects):
SIPS project interest:
Jonathan reviewed data request with BACH but noted the data use agreements are still pending. Rocio recommended taking one vaccine to start. She noted that not many patients are getting COVID-19 immunizations, and suggested potentially Pnuemo, Tdap for pregnant women, Shingrix for older populations, or Hep A in a homeless population. The idea is to focus on a population that keeps you up at night. Ashley and Sam will brainstorm internally on the vaccine and sub population.

General | Sam requested a 1:1 with NACHC to provide an update on the project. He is looking at pulling patients due for covid and PCV; will do ppt to share with NACHC. doing a manual data pull for small data reports. He will have a clinic spec. for covid (6/30) and one for pcv (next friday, 6/9). Sarah offered to give them a 1-month extension to finish the work since the covid clinic will be on 6/30. Sam will meet with his team and follow-up with Sarah. The team agreed he will not need to do follow-up chart audits for administer/refer since the data will come only on the vaccine clinic days. Instead, he will provide the rate of vaccination as: numerator: total # of patients that showed up and were vaccinated / denominator: total # of patients called by BACH to be scheduled for the vaccine clinic |
