USCDI Draft v2 Deadline
This page describes and supports NACHC partners in understanding proposed changes to the USCDI and invites them to participate in public comment for the 2021 United States Core for Data Interoperability (USCDI) v2 additions. The USCDI ONC New Data Element and Class (ONDEC) submission system is now open. The ONDEC system gives you the opportunity to submit new data elements and data classes through this ongoing, collaborative process. ONC will accept submissions for USCDI Draft v2 through October 9, 2020 and NACHC encourages partners to reach out with feedback and to let us know when you have comments so our team can amplify the needs for interoperability for our community health partners.
Submission Deadline Extension
As of : The submission deadline has been extended. All submissions must now be received by no later than at 11:59pm ET for USCDI Version 2 consideration.
We suggest:
- Review the NACHC USCDI Letter of Support: NACHC Letter of Support USCDI v2 2020-2021
- Review the slides and recordings from the NACHC USCDI webinars for more information if needed -- See Resources links at the bottom of the page.
- Submit your comments to ONC on data classes and elements that are meaningful to your care teams and patients -
- Provide feedback to NACHC about your needs -- Type your comments at the discussion area at the bottom of the specific domain. Include useful information like what use cases you are commenting on, what are the expected outcomes or supporting arguments for the addition of each class/element, and links to supporting resources.
