The desired outcomes for the harvest meeting are:

  1. NACHC, CDC, Partners and their guests have knowledge about the work of other partners.

  2. We have an understanding of partners’ progress on implementation

  3. Questions about adoption, modification for fit, and technical issues are discussed and next steps are identified

  4. CDC Technical Monitors have an understanding of how CDS tools can be implemented in health centerswhether the level of HIV testing six months after implementation of the CDS Tool was great than baseline, and if so, how much greater.

  5. CDC Technical Monitors know what will be included in the CDS implementation package.

How long do risk factors stay in the history but how can they be “not read” for example if someone gets into a monogomous relationship or otherwise changes, how do you …. Julia - Generally we look for the last instance. but it is possible to search for “in the last two year” Some things, risk disappears, other risks, like lifetime smoking, persist because the risk persist. Do things turn off or have a new effect or intermediate level of effect - it’s a wider Informatics issue.

Karen - HIV risk turns off (in practice or in theory?)

How many sites? 2.

Will include Job Aid in Harvest Material - if screen shots not allowable, just put in what

Clinics may have access to different tests, so if the implementation is system-wide, there has to be a choice of test by the provider – can that be automated?

In Epic the clipboard can only show one care gap (silly if there are high risk patients) so not clear what order is – can’t just have the HIV one pop up if there is another – which takes priority? The first one listed.
