Instructions for creating Use Cases and Personas 


Quick Guide to Drafting Personas (see link above for handout)

Patient persona. Describe either in a paragraph or in a sentence and a series of bullets, a real or prototypical patient whom you would like to impact with this intervention. Provide a description of factors that influence their decision-making, access to care, and general health. Include relevant information about the person’s cultural background, their medical problems, their social determinants of health, and their history.

Care Team Member persona. Describe either in a paragraph or in a sentence and a series of bullets, a real or prototypical staff person who will play an important role in this intervention. Include information like their background and any attitudes or experiences which may influence their thinking or actions around the intervention.
