CDC believes this is a 3-year project with 1-year funding.  9981How do we make this right with our vendors and partners?Closed
61/17/2023Neither partner, AllianceChicago nor OCHIN, are implementing the CDS tool - AC because they are integrating it into their EMR, OCHIN because they say they are required to have a provider or care team member sign off. They have not considered the paradigm shift of addressing the issue as a systems issue within the organization to normalize HIV testing.  CDC is now fully aware that neither partner is implementing the way they thought, and therefore cannot use this as a proof of concept for other things.9981
  1. We continue to run the project as it is because these are the realities of practice and continue to explain to CDC that this IS in fact the proof of concept - that there needs to be change management and systems analysis before plonking a CDS tool into a clinic.
