Task 1

Deliverable: Field Team trained and deployed in Puerto Rico for COVID and other vaccine administration, education and referral

• The field team has been successfully trained and deployed in Puerto Rico

• Our team has initiated outreach efforts targeting Dominican farmworkers. 45 individuals have been referred to care. We don’t have vaccine administration numbers, but we can request the number and report back.

• We’ve contracted Vivian Ebbesen-Fludd, a local individual, to help us with organizing on the ground.           

Task 2

Deliverable:  Field Team trained and deployed in the Virgin Islands for COVID and other vaccine administration, education and referral, focused on the HIV population

• The field team has been trained.

• We have contracted with a local individual who will assist with project management on-site, with a specific focus on the HIV program.

Task 3

Deliverable:  Field Team trained and deployed in the Virgin Islands for COVID and other vaccine administration, education and referral, focused on the farm workers and their families

• The same field team, along with the previously mentioned organizer, will be extending their support to our initiatives in the Virgin Islands, focused on the farm workers and their families.

• We have already conducted two meetings at the farmers' market, involving farmers and their families, who in most cases are farmworkers.

• We've discovered that there is a sizable community present from the Dominican Republic, so there will be a crossover in the use of materials from Puerto Rico to St. Croix

Deliverable:  Creation of Resources to be developed in this project for use in the field:

1. Development of a comic book form of the rotafolio content
