  1. This is a tool that is used around the word, flexible, works with other systems; it is demonstrated as successful in many contexts.
  2. Tool is only as good as how we use it - we are mostly using for knowledge management and sharing.
  3. Cloud version is coming!

How we use Confluence to support our work -

  1. The tool you did not know you needed. 
    1. Up front: we are using SharePoint for file storage, we can use Teamwork.com another tool for Project Management
    (or another tool). 
    1. . We are in the process of creating a tool but it is not plug and play.
    2. This is a powerful collaboration tool that brings our partners in with us to co-create our work, make our collective work visible.
    Can you think of whether or not this would be helpful to you in your work?
  2. Replaces several other applications that cost money - Noddlepod, HealthCare Communities
  3. Secure - you can set permissions for what people can see and what is only for your team.
  4. In the chat or on screen - how many ppl have Wikipedia once? About once a month? Maybe once a week or more often?  Ray!
